My name is Abt and i am 18 years old and i am a Nazi officer. I was forced to work with Hitler even though i didn't really want to. I try not to get noticed because i don't want them to notice that i am helping the Jews.

I don't think it is fair that these Jews have to suffer even though they didn't even do anything. This is my first year working for an army. My family was killed in Poland. I have always wanted to escape to America and become an American citizen.

I got sent to Plaszow because my old station is being attacked by the allies. I was talking to a guy one day and he said he knows a place where i can escape to get to America. So i did what he said and went to the bay to catch a ship that was headed to America. When i got there i found a job in a factory that makes chairs. 20 years later i became a US citizen and joined the army and have a wife and 3 kids.
